The surface of the Fanorona board consists of lines and intersections. What's unusual in this old game is the moving technique. On each turn, you move a playing piece along a line to an adjacent intersection. You capture an opposing playing piece if your own piece approaches that piece or moves away from it. The captured opposing piece is taken off the board. Multiple moves (and captures) on one turn are allowed. The first player to capture all of his opponent's pieces wins the game.

For 2 players, 8 years and up

Playing time: 10 – 15 minutes
