Shipping Rates and Delivery Time
$9.75 standard shipping within the Contiguous US, and most orders over $125 ship free!
We process most orders within 1 to 2 business days. Orders ship from New Salem, Massachusetts. Our standard method of shipping in the Continental US is by USPS or UPS, for a charge of $9.75. Orders over $125 generally ship free within the Continental US, via the carrier of our choosing. Our fastest method offers delivery on most items within 3 business days once the package has shipped: if you have a deadline within 6 business days, please contact us before placing your order.
These selections may be selected at checkout, and insurance may be added at that time as well. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are usually shipped via Priority Mail and are not included in the flat rate for the Continental US; not all items can ship to these locations. The Wooden Wagon reserves the right to ship packages of a certain size or weight via UPS or other, similar carriers. Time in transit is estimated from the day that the package is delivered to the carrier.

WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SHIP TO LOCATIONS OUTSIDE THE 50 UNITED STATES. International customers wishing to ship to a US address should contact us.
We make every effort to ensure that items will be shipped by the next business day (M-F) via the U.S. Postal Service or UPS, but occasionally delays will occur.

Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees, and are calculated from the day that the package is delivered to the carrier, NOT from the day the order is placed. All orders ship from New England: delivery to the West Coast will be the outside end of the estimated delivery time.
If you need your items by a specific date, please let us know prior to ordering and we will advise you whether you should upgrade to a faster service. Please understand that holidays and periods of high traffic such as the Christmas season may cause delays in the shipping and delivery of orders.
Be sure that the shipping address you give us is correct and exact. Packages sent through the Post Office can not be redirected once shipped, and UPS charges $17.00 or more to reroute packages, a charge which we must pass on to the customer. Misaddressed packages that are returned to us will be charged the actual shipping cost: customers are responsible for the shipping charge for reshipped packages. The Wooden Wagon can not be responsible for packages sent to hotels.
INSURANCEThe Wooden Wagon now partners with Route, the leader in package protection insurance. By selecting Route+ at checkout, your order will be covered against damage, loss or theft. (Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.) If you choose to opt out of this service, such protection will not be available for your order.
Once checkout is complete and your order has been placed, Route Protection Insurance is non-refundable.
In the unlikely case that your order never arrives or is damaged upon arrival, you can file a claim with Route and receive a refund or a replacement if possible.
Filing a Claim with Route
When you purchase Route Package Protection, you can report an order issue for packages that may be lost, stolen, or damaged. Click here to read Route Package Protection Policies.
Ensure you report an issue within the respective deadlines:
Damaged: Within 15 days of when the package was marked delivered
Lost: Within 30 days from the last tracking update
Stolen: Within 15 days of when the package was marked delivered
RETURNS AND EXCHANGESRETURNS
No returns without prior written authorization.
Items unless marked otherwise may be returned within 15 calendar days of ordering for a full refund (less shipping), so long as they are returned in their original packaging in new (resaleable) condition along with a copy of the sales receipt; orders placed with a coupon are returnable for store credit only. Candles, birdcalls and mouthed instruments, and items on sale are not returnable.
Please alert us before making any returns: Simply let us know your name, order number and reason for return by writing us at firstname.lastname@example.org: We will reply with instructions for your return.
Orders that are returned within 15 days will receive a refund of the purchase price: shipping fees are not refundable. Orders placed using the Affirm payment method will receive store credit only. If your order received free shipping, this freight amount may be deducted from any return. A restocking fee of at least 5% may apply. The product packaging as well as the product itself must be intact in new, resaleable condition or a minimum fee of $5.00 will be deducted from the refund.
We are not able to make exchanges. Please place a new order. We can issue a store credit that may be used towards a new order, if you prefer.
Please include a copy of the original packing list with your shipment, and indicate whether you would prefer a store credit, exchange or refund (all refunds will be made to the card presented in making the transaction). We suggest that you insuring the package, and The Wooden Wagon is not responsible for packages returned to us. Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.
A shipping carton separate from the product's packaging must be used for return shipments.
Orders placed with a gift certificate or a coupon are returnable for store credit only.
REPORTING A PROBLEMProblems with an order, such as items damaged in transit or missing or incorrect items, must be reported within 5 days of receipt of shipment. Please see our INSURANCE policies above. Please call or write us at orders @ thewoodenwagon.com.
In the event of breakage or misshipment, replacements will be shipped only to the original shipping address. Orders placed using a coupon will be issued a store credit in the event of damage: a replacement can not be sent.
CANCELLING AN ORDEROrders may only be canceled if the order has not yet been processed. Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the order: This applies to items removed from the order as well. Orders placed using the Affirm payment method or a coupon will receive store credit only.
Refused packages and packages returned with an incorrect address will be issued a refund of the purchase price, less the actual shipping costs.
ADJUSTING OR COMBINING ORDERSOrders once placed are final. We are not able to adjust, add to or combine orders.
