Sisal Board Game (by Oliver Schaudt)
by Oliver Schaudt
Everything in color order?
Colorful carpets for the queen are in demand, and they are to be laid out in more and more new patterns. After choosing a task, a number of black disks are placed on the gameboard according to the specifications of that task. Each task predefines a specific color combination on the board that the player now needs to accomplish when placing all the colored disks. The difficulty is to position the disks in the right way: After having started from any space on the board, you always occupy the next free space. All four orthogonal directions are allowed, but you may not place diagonally adjacent to another disk. The correct numerical sequence of the colored disks needs to be observed. Any spaces that are already occupied – be it by black or by colored disks – are skipped. The current task is fulfilled when all spaces have been occupied, the required color pattern has been completed correctly, and the number sequences have been laid out in compliance with the rules.Beware: very tricky!
Caution: Not suitable for children under three years, small parts can be swallowed.
