Prize Winning Berry Pickers Design reissued!

A design that was there at the beginning! In 1913, Grete Wendt entered a competition to create "tasteful souvenirs". She met with success, for her Berry Pickers took Second Prize. After the prize-winning group of figurines had appeared in numberouse magazines, she received so many that the orders that she was eventually enticed to found the Wendt und Kuehn workshops.

Berry Picker Boy, Girl and Child each carry containers overflowing with berries.
