The redesigned Ostheimer Father, introduced in 2006. While he is similar in size to the old-style figure, his shape has been recarved to capture a greater sense of movement.
As with all of the Ostheimer wooden toys, this figure is handcarved and -painted, using natural wood and nontoxic colors that conform with the stringent European toy safety standards. The larger Ostheimer toys are suitable for children 2 and above; the smaller, for ages three years plus.
