Ark Measurements: Height 5.5", Length 10", Width 4" This Ark by master craftsman Christian Werner comes complete with 18 animal pairs as well as Noah and his wife. The animals are cut from a pine lathe and hand painted with great attention to detail, giving each animal a unique and characteristic appearance. Animal pairs include horse, giraffe, cow, donkey, pig, elephant, camel, sheep, geese, goat, mountain goat, black and white chicken, 2 different pair of dogs, duck, polar bear and dove. Remove the roof of the ark and its deck to store the figures away. A truly special piece of Erzgebirge Folk Art, which received a Deutscher Designpreis Holzspielzeug (German Design Prize for Wooden Toys) honorable mention in 2004 .
