The Wooden Wagon sells natural, award-winning European wooden toys by Ostheimer, Fagus, Glueckskaefer, Cuboro, Grimm's and more, non-toxic art supplies from Stockmar, Artemis and Lyra, playsilks from Sarah's Silks, and many other products designed to foster creative play in children. Among the toy manufacturers we represent are Ostheimer (wooden figures), Fagus (wooden trucks), Kinderkram (planes, cars, and other wooden vehicles), Grimm's Spiel und Holz Design (building blocks, puzzles and birthday rings), Cuboro (beech-cube marble runs from Switzerland, and HABA, names that are trusted by families for their high quality of workmanship and the great play value of their toys. Our selection of safe and natural toys includes many items exclusive to The Wooden Wagon.

For Christmas and other celebrations, we offer decorations from Germany's Erzgebirge region, especially from the toymaking village of Seiffen. We have German Christmas candle pyramids and windmills by the Flath, Hiemann, Gunther and Mueller workshops, and nutcrackers from the Fuechtner family workshop, where the first nutcracker king was carved 125 years ago. Our wooden ornaments, smoking men, and nativity scenes are all made by hand in small Erzgebirge workshops, many of which have been crafting such folk art for one hundred years or more. The folk-art sensibility is represented in our traditional folk art toys selection, where many fine examples of Reifendrehen (or ring-turned) woodcarving abound: the Noah's Ark animals by Christian Werner are stunning examples of this unique form of woodworking.
