We think that this makes a great first doll. Soft enough to sleep with and on, and yet still big enough for a toddler to play with and love.
A statement from Nanchen Puppen: "We - Nana and Peter Sendke -, have been designing the Nanchen model since 1983. In our workshop Schauenburg, Germany all dolls are made by hand - one by one.
The delicate outfit and all faces painted by hand by Nana Sendke help to make Nanchen dolls unique and the favorite playmates of all children. We use cotton velvet, mohair, wool and cotton. Stuffing consists at 100 % of pure new wool."
