The Erzgebirge towns of Germany, and particularly the village of Seiffen, have a tradition of toymaking that stretches back at least to the 18th century. Our traditional wooden toys reflect this heritage of toymaking: Many are based on designs one hundred or more years old. They are, indeed, timeless, and will bring as much delight to today's children as they did to our grandparents. They are also handsome enough to decorate a mantel or shelf, but please remember: They are toys and are most fun when they're played with!
